Don’t forget to take your Circle Club Card! It’s the only way you'll gain free or reduced admission for you and your friends as well as queue hoping where applicable.
Plan ahead. If you have a specific club night in mind, take note of all the details like address, times etc. given in our listing.
Second choice. Through no fault of your own your chosen venue may not be able to admit customers on a given night due to such things as flooding, power cuts and acts of nature so choose an alternative venue to avoid disappointment.
2-4-1 Drinks Vouchers. Make sure you take your 2-4-1 Drinks Vouchers with you if they are accepted at your chosen venue. Why pay double when you don’t have to?
Proof of age. Please note the age restriction for the venue you have chosen to visit. 18+ or 21+.Proof of age may be required. Driver’s license, passport or government approved proof of age cards are permissible. Student/NUS cards are not.
Arrive early. Many of the club nights we list are very popular with our members and the venues are often at capacity before midnight. We suggest arriving before 11pm to ensure entry.
Mixed groups. Groups (5 or more) of unaccompanied males will generally be declined entry to just about every club in the West End. Your Circle Club Card membership is a privilege but not a guarantee of entry. Therefore if you arrive in mixed groups you will be given priority entry.
General behavior. Do not arrive at the venue highly intoxicated or act in a belligerent manner towards staff or patrons. The door supervisors/security personel have a difficult job and it is they who decide who will be permitted entry, so treat them with common courtesy if you want to gain admission.
Dress code. Please note the dress code for the venue you have chosen to visit by checking the listing and make sure all of your guests are fully aware too. If someone in your group is dress inappropriately and is subsequently denied entry you may all have to reconsider your plans for the night.
Queuing. If you happen to encounter a line/queue when you arrive at the venue and don't have queue hopping privileges ask the door staff for the approximate waiting time and be sure not to make unnecessary comments regarding his IQ as you may wait in line only to be turned away when you reach the front of the queue! We've seen it dozens of times so don’t let it happen to you!
Payment. Not all clubs accept Debit/Credit cards at the door so ensure you have cash to avoid the long walk to the ATM/cash machine while your friends are partying inside the club without you!
Cloakroom/Coat check. Please place all you coats/bags into the cloakrooms provided as thieves may operate.
Personal safety. Be aware of the possibility that someone may try to spike your drink, so keep an eye on your drinks at all times and only accept a drink from someone you don’t know if you see it poured.
Leaving the venue. Please be considerate of residents in the local area when leaving.
Getting home. We strongly recommend you do not get into unlicensed cabs or a vehicle driven by someone who has approached you from the street. They are often not insured or qualified to carry passengers so if their vehicle is involved in an accident you may not be insured against injury. Where possible use Black Cabs or licensed taxis from cab ranks and offices.
If in doubt, we recommend the Zingo Taxi Service who use satellite navigation to supply the nearest available London Black Cab to your location - dial 0700 700 700 from your mobile/cell phone, and stay put until they arrive.
And finally. If there is any way we can assist you in having a great night out please feel free to call us any time as that’s what we’re here for!
